JUMAIKELA: On 13th May 2013, the community of Vicuna Nivas, Jumaikela celebrated the feast of our mother and co-foundress St. Mary Domenica Mazzarello with lots of preparation. The boys and girls of the spoken English course in Don Bosco Parish filled the gaps in the absence of the boarders.

Earlier, the Principal of the school, Sr. Esther Rani Abraham cordially welcomed the parents and said "You are very precious to the school and you are part of the school family." After making them familiar with the rules of the school starting with the school diary, Sr. Esther made the parents aware of the rules of the school and went on to make them aware of their duties to lead the children on the right path.

A class teacher of Nursery Ms. Tantalita Young shared with the parents some practical points which they need to look into in order to facilitate the growth of the child. She said, "Develop self confidence in children by teaching them to do their own work by themselves like having tiffin, handle the water bottle."

"We promise that we will co-operate with school management always," said a parent thanking the management for the opportunity to familiarize with school and its educational system. Another parent added, "This session was an enriching and more practical that we can bring up our kids in a proper manner. Thank you for this session".
