MAZZARELLO HOME MONSADA: 110th birth anniversary of Bl. Laura Vicuna was celebrated with much enthusiasm and love. The celebration started with a vigil service.

On 22nd January, the Holy Eucharist was solemnized with various initiatives. The celebrant Rev. Fr. K.V. James SDB in his homily enumerated the qualities of Laura which is appropriate for the young girls of today and invited the assembly to do everything with right intention to become great like Bl. Laura.

The celebration continued throughout the day. In the afternoon various games were conducted for the children. Winners were awarded with prizes.In the evening boardersstaged a short programme comprised of enactment ofthe life of Bl. Laura Vicunaand the recitation of self-composed poems. Sr. ValsaKallirikumkalayil, the animator of the community in her concluding message encouraged the children to follow the good example of Laura.She added let Jesus be our strength in all circumstances.
