Leaders train the leaders


Holy Child Auxilium – Vasant Vihar cabinet conducted a workshop for all the monitors, vice monitors and junior house captains on 27th April 2013. The workshop was called "The FAB MOB" which stands for 'The Fabulous, the Most, the Only and the Best'. The aim of the cabinet was to impart leadership qualities, find out the type of leaders they are and what changes they can make in themselves to be a better leader.

The workshop began with a game, "The west wind came and blew away" which was used as an ice-breaker to make them feel comfortable in the group. A video was shown on how a leader can lead a group by changing some things in themselves and making some sacrifices.

The workshop was further continued by the cabinet explaining the monitors the different types of leadership like: The Autocratic leadership, the Bureaucratic leadership and the Democratic leadership

The monitors and vice-monitors were divided into 8 groups for the various activities and games that were to be followed. A game called the "Human Knot" was played to test the problem solving skills. Various types of leadership were explained with examples.

Another game called "Cleaning up the Room" was played to test the team work and coordination amongst the group and to show the importance of team work and the great results of team coordination. The monitors and vice-monitors were enlightened by the "PIE method" which stands for planning, implementation and evaluation. Later the meaning of FAB MOB was explained.

After discussing all the queries and solutions to them a funny video was shown to mark the ending of the workshop.
