From 1996-2011 Auxilium Convent Barasat took care of the Aspirants and Postulants. With the aim of providing the Aspirants and Postulants a suitable ambient for their formation and a place where they can carry out activities that are more in keeping with their life and vocational growth, the provincial council decided to separate the Formation house and form a new community in the same complex. Therefore Mother General and her council erected a new community at Barasat, under the patronage of Bl. Eusebia Palomino on June 24, 2011.
The first community consisted of Sr. Lily Perumpettikunnel (Animator) Sr. Leelamma Palliparambil (Vicar and Assistant) and Sr. Alitrice Mary Warjri (t.) and 14 aspirants. Initially the works of the new community were: Aspirantate Postulancy - Oratory-Assistance in the school. From June 2012 the community also takes care of the Vocational Training Centre as well as the Neighbourhood Childrens Parliament. Sr. Sherley Kalapurayil, the fourth member of the community is in charge of the same. Sr. Leelamma is also the Social Development Coordinator of the province.
